He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Strom (Schmieg); his grandchildren, Lena Van Guilder, Faith and Sawyer Koepp; his children, Kriston Koepp (Gary Van Guilder) of Crested Butte, CO and Justin Koepp (Lindsay) of Colton, SD; and his siblings, June Western (Don) of Oceanside, CA, Dan Koepp (Vicki Fitzpatrick), Cindy Nelson (Doug), Kim Butler (Stanley) and Jim Koepp (Carolyn).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Willow Creek Lutheran Church in Dell Rapids, SD or the DAV office in Webster, SD.
