Patten; his grandfather Herb; his daughter Judy Dosch (Jim); his granddaughter Janet Fischer (Jim); his great grandchild Devin Zimbelman; his granddaughter Julie Dosch; his great grandchildren, Sydney and Kalee Beck; his grandson Jade Dosch; his great grandchild Harley; his son Dean Knie (Patty); his grandson John Knie (Elisha); his great grandchildren, Haley, Chelsea and Megan; his granddaughter Kristy Bjorklund (Jason); his great grandchild Alex; his grandson Brian Knie (Janey); his great grandchildren, Julia and Sarah; his daughter Jannelle Cowles-Nelson (Bill); his granddaughter Jennifer Cowles; his great grandchild Trey; his granddaughter Cindy Genzler; his great grandchildren, Audra, Autumn and Aubrie; his daughter Jo Moonchild; his grandchildren, Jessie Sanchez (Cory) and John Weischedel (Mary); his great grandchild Aidan; his daughter Joan Roesch (Mick); his granddaughter Joanna Dvorak (Bill); his great grandchild Janna; his granddaughter Emily Heupel; his great grandchild Daniel; his brothers, Elmer, Earl, Wallace and Walter; his son-in-law Tom Cowles; and his grandson Jared Weischedel. He was also cherished by the grandchildren loved calling Grandpa Herb by his nickname his mother.
