With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Melius (Cresbard, South Dakota), who passed away on September 28, 2019 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lyle Melius to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Melius and Frankie Melius (Horning); his sister Darlene Holmberg (Clarence); his parents-in-law, Howard and Doris Holt; and his brothers, Bob Blikeng, Chuck (Jean Johnson), David McGough and Pete Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne; and his children, Miles (Jerean), Shelley Simon (Chuck), Philip (Stephanie), Owen (Shellie) and Kary Bowar (Pat). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; sister, Eila Blikeng, California; sister-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed to the Cresbard Methodist Church, Cresbard Cemetery, or the Cresbard Community Center.
