He was predeceased by : his wife Dolores L. Kelly; his son James L. Kruse; his son-in-law Donald R. Zastrow; and his great grandchild Elizabeth Kruse. He is survived by : his children, Dr. Mark Kruse (Valorie) of Dakota Dunes, SD, Gail Zastrow of Prescott Valley and Dr. Ruthann Kruse of Cave Creek, AZ.; and his grandchildren, Dr. Lucas Kruse of Raleigh, NC, Kathryn Robinson (Will) of Broomfield, CO, Dr. Joshua Kruse (Kathryn) of Dakota Dunes, SD, Jason Zastrow of Chico, CA, Dr. Jed Zastrow (Jenn) of Prescott Valley, AZ, Jarod Zastrow of Buena Park, CA, Blaze Meyers of Aspen, CO and Gus Meyers of Ogden, UT..

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made out to Camp High Hopes, c/o Dr. Mark Kruse, 263.
