With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vivian Norgaard Bjordahl of DeSmet, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Vivian left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kalvig and Emma Kalvig; her spouse Cecil Bjordahl; her son Stuart; her grandson Joseph; her stepchildren, Dawn Gunn, Kandace Spencer and Ross Bjordahl; her stepson-in-law Bob Jacobson; and her close friend Jim Auson.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Norgaard (Kathy) and Gail Fike; her stepdaughters, Mary Beth Jacobson and Cecile Wollman (Merle); her stepchildren-in-law, Joe Spencer and Pam Bjordahl; her grandchildren, Regan Norgaard (Lale), Lindsay Chicoine (Brian), Matt McDongall, Aaron Norgaard (Jennifer), Jordan Norgaard (Ashley), Abby Schlinker (Chris), Kelsey Ames (Dean), Hallie Loewy (Ben) and Hayden Fike; and her stepgrandchildren, Jim Gunn (Carrie), Jeff Spencer (Sheri), Scott Jacobson (AJ), Kim Jacobson and Brian Vogt (Melessa). She is also survived by 29 great-Grandchildren and 34 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crawford-Osthus/Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel (305 E Ash St, Arlington, SD 57212).
