She was predeceased by: her father Jerome Schmitt; her husband Barry Buxton; her son John Edward Audus; and her brother Dennis Schmitt. She is survived by: her mother Rosemary Schmitt (VanHout) of Clark; her former husband Robert "Bob" Audus; her daughters, Dawn, Wendy and Shelly; her stepson Scott of New Orleans; and her siblings, Gerald Schmitt of Doland, Ardella Anderson (Ken) of Lincoln, NE, Peter Schmitt, Tony Schmitt (Rhonda Mullin) of Sioux Falls and Donny Schmitt of Rapid City. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
