She was predeceased by : her parents, William LaPlante and Mamie Jewett; her husband Jess A. Knight; her son Jeffrey Knight; her granddaughter Heather Knight; her daughters-in-law, Guyla Gunville and Sherry Keller-Knight; her half-brother Leland Larrabee; and her brothers, Lanny and Orville LaPlante.
She is survived by : her children, Monte (Buckshot), Lona, Tom (Carol), Bill (Susan Pourier), Lucy, Jeff and Mark (Connie); her great grandchild Hunka; her son Jess Jr. (Marsha Lytle); her great grandchildren, Dawnita, Corrine, Justin Mark, Ronnie, Will Taylor, Berk, Little Crow, Robbie, Coy Wallace, Sara (Grady), Annie, Chris Dupris (Felix), Clell, Ashley, Cante, Tesla, Jess "Jai", Spence Etzkorn, Jaci, Steven Heberlein, Kelsey, Tee (Rilynn), Ryan, Margaret, Chad High Elk (Cherry Jean), Jessie Lou, Rocky Longbrake, Jaymie and Shaun Packineau (Shyah); her siblings, Rita Birkeland (John) and Allen LaPlante; and her niece Diana Jensen. She is also survived by 51 grandchildren.
