He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Nelson and Bernice Nelson (Froning); his wife Karen; his children, Kyle (Sarah), Kole (Jenny), Kassidy (Abby), Dan, Bridgette (Philip), Brooke (Brookings) and Zeb (Brookings); his grandchildren, Melanie, Michael, Samantha, Ian, Sawyer, Ezra, Elinor, Jack, Josephine and Baby Girl Nelson; and his siblings, Kevin Nelson (Lori), Karen Goon (Bill), Mary Jo Nielsen (Jim), Lori Eggers (Tom) and Cathy Johnson (Craig).
