She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil; her brother Dan; and her brother-in-law Gary Jones. She is survived by: her parents, Anthony Ruden and Veronica Ruden (Schiltz); her children, Tom Schulte (Carol) of Sioux Falls, Mary Wilcox (Mitch) of Emery, Terry Schulte of Sioux Falls, Jane Narverud (Jay) of Burnsville, MN, Jon Schulte (Nancy) of Sioux Falls, Christi Schnabel (Kevin) of Emery, Dan Schulte (Sarah) of Brookings and Joe Schulte (Mary) of Brookings; her siblings, Jerry Ruden (Angie) of Memphis, TN, Carol Jones of Meridian, ID and Paula Wolosyn (Bernie) of Goodman, WI; and her friend Joyce Erickson of Emery. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, along with many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
