It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Albert Quenzer of Eureka, South Dakota, who passed away on April 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Albert Quenzer and Alvina Quenzer (Walther) of Eureka; his siblings, Sylvia Hauge of Eureka, Jeanie Hoffman (Terry) of Leola, SD and Harley Quenzer of Rapid City, SD; and his nephew Brian Quenzer. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In December 2013, James moved to Pierre, SD and was employed with the State of South Dakota with the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications as a Software Engineer Manager I. In March of 2020, he returned to Eureka due to the pandemic related office shutdowns and continued to work remotely.
