She was predeceased by : her parents, Gust Rau and Martha Rau (Hirsch); her husband Albert Metzger; her daughter Linda Maki; her grandson Grant Weisz; her son-in-law Robert Gentry; and her siblings, Marilda Christensen, LaVida Eberhart, Ethline Fischer, Erwin Rau, Perry Rau, Clarence Rau, Harvey Rau and Richard Rau.
She is survived by : her children, Gary Metzger (Susan) of Eureka, Margie Gentry of Colorado Springs, CO and Sara Freiday (James) of Big Lake, MN; and her siblings, Stanley Rau (Viola) of Eureka, Leslie Rau of Eureka, Ruth Mutschler of Eureka and Janice Theis of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
