He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob and Elisabeth; his stepmother Ann Ulrich; and his siblings, Pauline Pease, Leonard Ulrich, Helen Stafford, Lea Ulrich, Rosemary Miller, Pearl Ulrich and Cyrus Ulrich.
He is survived by: his child Terry; his wife Alvina; his children, Gary Ulrich (Terry Ulrich), Nancy Crotty (Brad) and Grand Forks; his granddaughters, Tara Ulrich, Williston, Andrea Ulrich and Devils Lake; his sisters, Claudia Retzer, Ashley Harsch and Hulda Harsch; his aunt Hulda; and his uncle Edmund Opp. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ashley Medical Center or Zion Lutheran Church.
