He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond G. Austin and Ruth M. Austin (Bubble); and his siblings, Raymond, Charles and Catherine Austin.

He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Machado; and his children, Ruth Austin-Ferrara (Frank) of Mahwah, NJ, Susan Brown-Hudson of Eureka, Linda Austin-Wright (Rick) of Sacramento, CA, William Austin Jr. (Lori) of Allegan, MI and Raymond Austin of Hopatcong, NJ. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
