With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Olson (Fort Thompson, South Dakota), who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank McGhee and Mercy McGhee (McBride); her husband Bob Olson of Fort Thompson, SD.; and her siblings, Vern, Arnold, Robert McGhee, Effie Miller, Della Lytle and Hilda Long Crow.

She is survived by : her son Armond "Red" Olson (JoAnn) of Fort Thompson; her grandchildren, Chad Olson of Chamberlain, Kristi Olson-Thompson (Brad) of Pukwana and Stacy Olson of Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Trevor Olson of Chamberlain, Briana, Bridgette, Kammie, Karlie, Brendan, Kaden Thompson of Pukwana, Levi Olson of Yankton, Emma, Ryken and Kai Dicus of Mitchell; her siblings, Helen McGhee-Fuerst of Fort Thompson, Frank McGhee Jr. of Rapid City and Leroy McGhee of Fort Thompson; and her half-brother Dicky Ross of Fort Thompson.
