He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Huber and Myrna Huber (Albrecht); his parents-in-law, Delmer Elcock and Lydia Elcock; and his nephews, Bradley Wek and Corey Wek.
He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his children, Jessica Schmeichel (Ethan) and Kyle Huber (Kayla); his grandchildren, Colt, Ben and Matt; his siblings, Joan Andersen (Greg), Jackie Groen (Chet), Chris Huber (Molly), Jeff Huber (Janet) and Steve Huber (Katie); and his siblings-in-law, Darrell Elcock, Judy Nagel (Leroy) and Wanda Wentzel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (615 E 7th St, Freeman, SD 57029). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Freeman City Cemetery (185 E 3rd St, Freeman, SD 57029).
