He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Keimig and Armetha Keimig (Miller); and his siblings, Joe, John, Donny Keimig and Elizabeth Smith.

He is survived by : his spouse Lynn Scherff; his son John Thomas Keimig (Jessica); and his siblings, Robert Keimig (Joyce), Marie Simonton, Gurard Keimig (Karen), Frances Grimlie, Patty Boettcher, Marvin Keimig, Sr., Dolly Pederson (Roger), Jim Keimig (Karen) and Sarah Wynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
