With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derald Hanson of Gettysburg, South Dakota, who passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hanson and Williaminna "Minnie" Hanson (Mary); his brother Richard; his son Dean; and his son-in-law Curt.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Larrington; his children, David Hanson (Maureen), Granbury of Texas, Patty Jones (Jerry), Bill Hanson (Cheryl) and Diana Anderson; his daughter-in-law Jackie Hanson of Gettysburg, SD; and his sister-in-law Margaret Larrington. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
