It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Merlyn Mellang (Gettysburg, South Dakota), born in Williston, North Dakota, who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline E. Mellang (Derby) and Clarence W. Mellang; and his wife Janice Pederson. He is survived by: his children, Clarence Mellang (Rhonda) of Sioux Falls, SD, Greg Mellang (Chris) of Cambridge, MN, Brad Mellang (Robyn) of Sioux City, IA and Brenda Cowles (Brad) of Topeka, Kansas; and his sisters, Phyllis Stokke (Jim) of Williston and Doris Christianson of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
