She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Herman and Alice M. Herman (Wagner); her husband Dennis E. Tesch; and her siblings, Betty and William "Bill" Herman.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Reece (Jeff), Kay Moore (Kim), Paul Tesch (Tina) and Wayne Tesch (Cindy); her siblings-in-law, Sharon Herman, Margie Tesch (Ray Kerstetter), Dorothy Burke, Mary Van Poucke, Kenneth Tesch and Carl Tesch (Mary); and her grandsons, Adam Moore, Joshua Reece and Nicholas Tesch. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy Jean's name may be made to Lake Area Vo Tech marked for the Dennis Tesch Memorial Scholarship, local animal shelter/rescue organizations, or the Nature Conservancy.
