He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Huls and Agnes Huls (Krantz); and his siblings, Donna Jean, Phyllis, Dorothy (Emil Puthoff), Margaret (Marty McAreavey), Rose Marie (Mac McCoy), Betty (Leo Gaspar), Art (Marie Huls), Ron Huls, Barb (Darrell Tverberg), Vince (Yvonne Huls) and Lawanda Huls.
He is survived by: his wife Carol of Hartford; his daughter Shawn Irvine of Utah; his grandson Zachary Irvine (Allison); his great grandchildren, Hemmingway (Hemi) of Utah and Sparrow of Utah; his brothers, Lowell of Humboldt and Jerry (LaVonne) of Sioux Falls; and his brother-in-law Larry Mahoney (Carol) of Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
