He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Shelton and Margaret Shelton (McMahon); his wife Jeanette; his children, Virginia Henderson and Michael; and his brothers, Ray, James, Terrance, Howard and Dwayne.
He is survived by : his former life partner Jeannette Severson; his son Mike; his brother Dodge; his children, Valerie Youngman (Jerry) of Hecla, SD, Dennis Shelton (Teresa) of Hecla, SD and Darwin Shelton (Deb Hayes) of Watertown, WI; his daughter-in-law Alley Shelton of Aberdeen, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Shelton of Fargo, ND, Gloria Shelton and Kathy Severson Gerken. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
