He was predeceased by : his parents, LeRoy Bushby and Minnie Bushby (Engle); his wife Ann; his sons, Derwin Bushby and Jesse Schimke; his sisters, LaVonne Meyers, Connie Hayes and Jean Dinger; his daughters-in-law, Olive Schimke, Darcy Bushby and Kelly Bushby; and his great grandchild Cannon Hebl.
He is survived by : his former life partner Anna Schimke (Geffre) of Ellendale; his children, Dennis Schimke of Kulm, ND, Randy Bushby of Hecla, SD and Perry Bushby (Kris) of Aberdeen, SD.; and his sisters, Myrtis Frohling (Virgil) of Hecla, Martha Drazil of Washington and Winnie Ingels of Aberdeen. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
