He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenz Tschetter and Suzanna Tschetter (Kleinsasser); his wife Marie B. Gross; his son-in-law John Swanda; his grandson Brian Swanda; and his siblings, Susanna, Justina, Ida, Rebecca, Clara, Eli, Ed and Ted.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Swanda of Huron, Reggie Tschetter (Jewel) of Huron, Teresa Simon (Darrell) of Peterson, MN and Cheryl Raymond (Frank) of Renner; his grandchildren, Jason Tschetter (Tracy), Amy Tschetter, Angela Hunter (Matt), Melissa Radel (Kane), Travis Simon (Kristen), Juston Simon, Chris Raymond, Jaimie Cossa (Jason) and Patrick Raymond; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Jackson, Ella Tschetter, Cala, Jakeb, Landan Hunter, Kelvin Simon and Natalie Swanda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
