With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Gertrude Steffe of Hot Springs, South Dakota, who passed away on April 29, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Gertrude Steffe to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Chris Larsen and Sarah Larsen; her granddaughter Myriah Jo Johnson; and her sister Mildred Stevenson. She is survived by : her husband Dirl Steffe Sr. of Hot Springs, SD; her children, Dirlene Wheeler (Neil) of Talent, OR, Dirl Jr. Steffe (Vicki) of Hot Springs, SD, Dianne Johnson (Webb) of Crawford, NE and Denise Atkinson (Bill) of Huntington, WV; her grandchildren, Haley, Angie, Amber, Molly, Kelsey, Ashley, Zach, Ariel and Sapphire; and her sister Joyce Steffe. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established at Loneman School with donations being sent to: Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 812, Hot Springs, SD 57747.
