He was predeceased by : his parents, Susie Bender (Flamang) and Albert Bender; his sister Janice Wolf; and his brother-in-law Marlin Wolf. He is survived by : his spouse MaeNerva Hoffman; his daughters, Susan Kuehl (Dennis) of Java, Patricia Lawrence (Kelvin) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jennifer Kalenze of Bowdle; and his grandchildren, Alicia Mullinix (Dustin), Dustin Leuning (Melissa), Tyson Leuning (Emily), Jordon Leuning, Shannon Stickney and Lee Stickney (Amanda). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
