It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jane Hemmingson of Kadoka, South Dakota, born in Wanblee, South Dakota, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sol Rittel and Ella Rittel (Brandt); her husband Andy Hemmingson; her siblings, Merle, Neil, Bob Rittel, Marcelene Kukal and Betty Griswold; and her son-in-law Rick Wilmarth.

She is survived by : her children, Paulette Wilmarth of Kadoka and Ron Hemmingson (Nancy) of Eureka, SD; her grandchildren, Lori Konst (Jeff), Cody Wilmarth, Eric Wilmarth and Justin Hemmingson; her great grandchildren, Jade Konst (Bailey), Kayla Wilmarth (Jake Hirsch), Kylee Wilmarth (Caden Goetschius), Jaslyn Kampfe (Devin) and Samantha Wilmarth (Dustin Eberle); her great great grandchildren, Harper Quinn and Huxton Lee; and her sister Darlene McCormick. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kadoka Bible Church.
