She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Stevens and Kathleen "Tootie" Stevens (Alkire); her son Brent Schafer; and her brother Gary Stevens. She is survived by: her husband John of Keldron, SD; her children, Heath Hetzel (Kris) of Stanley, ND, Ben Hetzel (Holly) of Lemmon, SD and Sally Hoover (Todd) of Newcastle, WY; her grandchildren, Hannah Heinrich (Kyle) of Dickinson, ND, Seth, Leah, Josh Hetzel of Stanley, ND, Jacob, Sarah, Drew, Kyle Hetzel of Lemmon, SD, Caleb, Gabe and Eli Hoover of Newcastle, WY.; and her siblings, Reed Stevens (Donna) of Rapid City, SD, Linda Meidinger (Richard) of Lemmon, SD and Lola Sigvaldsen (Brad) of Lemmon, SD. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
