With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Espland of Lake Norden, South Dakota, who passed away on July 27, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Ellsworth and Louise Ellsworth (Julin); her husband Harvey Espland; and her sisters, Darlene Ellsworth and Muriel Zielinski.

She is survived by : her children, Shirley Brandt (Harry) of Shoreview, MN and Douglas Espland (Tammy) of Concord, CA; and her sisters, Alice Bates and Kay Graff. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
