Darla Kaye Koisti Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darla Kaye Koisti of Lake Norden, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Kastein and Lilace Kastein (Pearson); her husband Sheldon Koisti; her brother Larry Kastein; and her brother-in-law Barry Lemme.

She is survived by: her siblings, Dorene Lemme and Darryl Kastien (Gloria); her sister-in-law Trice Ann Kastein; her siblings' children, Shelley Jensen (Dick), Barbara Halonen (Rus) and Richard Koisti (Amy); and her grandchildren, Claire Jensen, Matthew Jensen, Chelsea Halonen, Becca Halonen and Courtney Koisti. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Norden Community Center (520 Main Ave, Lake Norden, SD 57248).
