She was predeceased by : her parents, Eino Wanhala and Doris Wanhala; her husband William F. "Bill" Novak; her granddaughter Morgan Marie Povick; her son-in-law Gerald Durbin; and the father of her children Ronald Povick.
She is survived by : her children, Tina Durbin (Tom Milan) of Brandt, SD and Kevin Povick of Colorado Springs, CO; her sisters, Kathy Hall (Larry) of Eveleth, MN, Bev Baraga (Rod) of Baxter, MN, Lori Novak (Vince) of Corcoran, MN and Donna Damjanovich (Tom) of Nashwauk, MN; her grandchildren, Spencer Durbin (Whitney), Samantha Durbin (Freddy Blaser), Tyler Durbin (Alyson), Dallas Durbin, Conor Durbin and Alekzandar Povick; and her great grandchildren, Kiara, Avery, Nicolai, Oliver and Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
