He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Johnson and Hilma Johnson (Sandwick); his siblings, Anna Isdal (Lars), Andrew Johnson (Esther), Alice Kettleson (Jennings), Oscar Johnson, Hilma Randen (John) and Muriel Seidel (Ray); his daughter-in-law Shelly Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Donald Ham and Sharon Stugelmeyer; and his grandson Cory Demoney.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley Schackow; his sons, Gary Johnson (Jodi) of Lemmon, SD, Bob Johnson (Shilo) of Lemmon, SD and Mike Johnson (Linda) of Hettinger, ND; his grandchildren, Colt Schafer, Anna Kingstad (Luke Jantzen), Samantha Johnson, Lance Johnson (Megan), Annie Roehl (Andy), Cheyann Demoney, Katelyn Eisenbeis and Alexis Johnson; his great grandchildren, Juno Roehl and Levi Johnson; his sister Martina Ham; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Schakow (Benita) and Earl Stugelmeyer (Anita). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
