He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Rokes; his wife Julie Nilles (Snyder) of Madison, SD; his children, Becky Nilles (Matt Dial) of Springdale, AR, Jim Nilles (Amy) of Merrill, IA, Dale Nilles (Jan) of Las Vegas, NV, Ray Nilles of Aurelia, IA, Christine Nilles (Mike Anderson) of Des Moines, IA, Angie Steeg (Matt) of Le Mars, IA, Jacquie Monen of Sioux Falls, SD, Merrie Nilles of Douglas, GA and Pat Nilles (Monica) of Le Mars, IA; his stepdaughter Danyel Bergjord of Coon Rapids, MN; his brothers, Dennis Nilles (Bev) of Le Mars, IA, Peter Nilles (Judy) of Le Mars, IA and Mark Nilles (Jean) of Le Mars, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Nilles of Kingsley, IA and Florence Nilles of Remsen, IA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
