With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Alverson of Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on August 21, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlie Alverson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Alverson and Margaret Alverson (Shirk); his son Jimmie; and his brother Eugene "Stub" Alverson. He is survived by: his wife Rosella "Rosie" Schuldt; his children, Jill Martin (Shawn) and John Alverson (JoAnn); his daughter-in-law Annette Spielmann; his great grandchildren, Avery, Emmett, Berkelie, Maverick, Wesley, Grady, Bodey, Pyper, Korbin and Clay; his sister Sharon Siemonsma (Dan); and his sister-in-law Lois Alverson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Parkinson Association of South Dakota or Chester American Legion Veterans Memorial Project.
