He is survived by: his children, Michael Halverson (Laine) of Sioux Falls, James Halverson (Rozanne) of Grants Pass, OR, Robert Halverson of Madison, Anne Hurst (Michael) of Vacaville, CA and Thomas Halverson (Sandra) of Oviedo, FL; and his stepdaughters, Lee Ann Stofferahn (Gary) of DeSmet, Cheri Mergen (Mark) of Dell Rapids, Barb Mergen (Chris) of Dell Rapids and Tammy Palli (Dan) of Ramona. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
