With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Simet of Madison, South Dakota, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on December 7, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Simet and Alma Simet (Christensen); and his siblings, Frank, Jr., Fran Hansen and Evelyn "Tootie" Stoops.
He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Kilmer; his wife Connie Johnson of Madison; his children, Mark Simet (Sue) of Sioux Falls, Steve Simet (Linda) of Virginia Beach, VA, Kirk Simet (Lori) of Brookings, Cathy Moore (Chris) of Madison and Becky Collins (Clay) of Pflugerville, TX; and his adoptive daughter Lori Schulte of Aurora, SD. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Madison Hospice, 323 SW 10th St., Madison, SD 57042.
