He was predeceased by: his parents, John Struwe and Marjorie Struwe (Peck); and his siblings, Vivian Sheldon, Geneva Zwart, Mae Lawrence, Inez Olson, Roy, Ron and Verle "Bill".
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Merager of Madison; his sons, Gregg (Barb) of Watertown, SD, Jeff (Susan) of Brookings and Todd (Kris) of Brookings; and his grandchildren, Emma Anderson (Brett), Tony Struwe, Travis Struwe, Paul Struwe, Kara Conner, Ian Conner, Zach West and Megan Struwe. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
