He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Faye and Irene McDonald (Colgrove); and his daughter Valerie Lynn McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Smit of Madison; his son Curtis Allen McDonald of Colorado; and his sister Judy Zuel of Madison. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
