He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Howard (Jacobson) and Johnny Howard; his wife Lucille Doty; and his brothers, Harry and Bobbie.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Gjoraas (Dwayne) of Boise, ID, Bryon Howard (Kathy) of Madison and Patti Aus (Greg) of Madison; his grandchildren, Matt (Sonya), Mack Howard, Maci Howard, Jacob (Emily) and Adam Aus; his stepgrandchildren, Josh, Jenny and Eric Gjoraas; his great grandchildren, Cohen, Claire Howard, Landry, Lilly Aus and Greyson Howard; his stepgreat-grandson Wyatt Gjoraas; and his brother Richard "Burp" (Crystal) of Madison.
