It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth R. Ruen of Madison, South Dakota, born in Ramona, South Dakota, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Leonard and Hattie Leonard (Tupper); her spouse Merlgene Ruen; her siblings, Theresa Bickett and William Hines; her children-in-law, Carol Ruen and Michael Young; and her great great grandchild Lucy.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Ruen (Debra) of Madison, Peggy Young (Richard Amert) of Madison, Rodney Ruen (Joni Cowman) of Pierre and Roberta Mullen (Brian) of Emlenton, PA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sinai Lutheran Church or The Bethel Lutheran Home.
