Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Barker of Madison, South Dakota, born in Lebanon, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 85, on March 7, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Sorenson and Marie Sorenson (Gogolin); her former husband Raymond Wagner; her siblings, Melvin Sorenson, Arthur Sorenson, Glenn Sorenson, Kenneth Sorenson and Ruth Lauer; and her children-in-law, Marilyn Wagner and Jerry Blindert.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Barker; her children, Dennis Wagner, Gary Wagner (Katie), Tim Wagner (Theresa), Rick Wagner (Cathy), Karla Blindert, Mary Olson (Daniel) and Susan Connor (Beau); and her sister Velma Wagner. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley's family prefers memorials to be sent to Avera Dougherty Hospice House, Sioux Falls, SD.
