He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" and Lucille Haynes (Williams); and his brothers, Larry, Veryl and Lyle Haynes.

He is survived by : his siblings, Don Haynes (Jolene), Loren Haynes (Anna), Lynette Batie (Darrel) of Hermosa, Audrey Brooks, Kathleen Bochman (Merlon), Sarah Hopkins (Bob) and Doreen Harter (Randy); his stepmother Bonnie Haynes; and his sisters-in-law, Sharlyn Haynes and Janelle Haynes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his very special friend.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
