It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winona (Cecelia) Lois Cottier (Martin, South Dakota), born in Allen, South Dakota, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emma Bettelyoun (Ruff) and Everett "Dickie" Bettelyoun; her children, James Cottier, Louis, Richard Lee and Sharon Cottier; her siblings, Charles Bettelyoun, Joe Bettelyoun, Julie Bettelyoun, Richard "Pinky" Bettelyoun, Irene Bettelyoun and Darla Bettelyoun; and her grandchildren, Frank Bettelyoun (Yamni), Neveah Cottier and Aaliyah James.
She is survived by : her children, Lavonne "Bonnie" Dillon-Cottier (Craig), Barbara Richards (Jerry), Kelly Cottier, Mary Cottier, Joseph Cottier, Jr., Everett Cottier, Hunka, Misty Brave (Tony) and Jay Helper; her sister Mary Fern Bettelyoun; and her grandchildren, Mariah (John), Shavonne, Percy and Matthew Cottier. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 89 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
