It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elda Schaeffer (Menno, South Dakota), who passed away on July 15, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Oswald and Regina Oswald (Schaeffer); her husband Ervin; her siblings, Edmund, Elmer Oswald (Lora), Edna Oswald (Albert), Ardena Oswald, Viola Tipple (Ralph), Martha Mettler (Art) and Elnora Schultz (Gust); and her brothers-in-law, Richard Auch, Walter Auch and Elmer Streyle.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Schaeffer (Carol) of Jefferson, SD and Milo Schaeffer (Deb) of Menno, SD; her grandchildren, Tonia Monahan (Jeff), Trista Delperdang (Layne), Sandra Schaeffer and Paul Schaeffer; her great grandchildren, Rayce, Dalton Monahan and Caprice Delperdang; and her sisters, Hulda Auch, Adella Auch and Leona Streyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be sent to the Menno/Olivet Care Center, 402 South Pine Street, Menno, SD 57045.
