She was predeceased by: her husband Emil Fischer; her parents, Wilhelm Schaeffer and Anna Schaeffer; her siblings, Johannes Schaeffer, Elton Schaeffer, Arnold Schaeffer, Marvin Schaeffer and Verina Tiede; and her siblings-in-law, Elton Tiede, Virginia "Ginny" Schaeffer, Lelia Schaeffer and Bonnie Schaeffer.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann and Thomas Fischer (Cindy) of Menno, SD; her grandchildren, Dustin Fischer of Sioux Falls, SD and Derek Fischer of Menno, SD; her great grandchildren, Aubrianna of Sioux Falls, SD and Graydon of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings, Geraldine Schultz (Amos) of Menno, SD, Alfred Schaeffer (Leona) of Menno, SD, Gideon Schaeffer (Mary Jane) of Tucson, AZ, John Schaeffer (Darleen) of Grimes, IA and Victor Schaeffer (Darlene) of Yankton, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Harriet Schaeffer of Menno, SD and June Schaeffer of Green Bay, WI. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
