It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alphonse Joseph Holtzmann of Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice Holtzmann (McCaffrey); his parents, Alphonse and Mary; and his children, Mary Jo Taillefer (Jean-Paul), Jeannie Schwartz (Howard), Margaret Costanzo (Tony), Barb Courtright (Jim), Susan Johnson (Leon), Beth Pocta (Dave), Larry Holtzmann, Bob Holtzmann (Sue) and Roger Holtzmann (Carolyn). He was also cherished by Twenty grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren round out his loving family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Grant County Food Pantry.
