Don Buth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don Buth of Milbank, South Dakota, born in Barnesville, Minnesota, who passed away on May 28, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Buth and Harold Buth; his son David Buth; and his brother Kenny Buth. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Nelson; his children, Stacy (Dan) of Medford, MN and Michael (Lynn) of Danbury, IA; his grandchildren, Nick Buth, Anthony Thofson, Justin Buth, Siri Thofson, Ashley Buth (Matt Watkins) and Logan Buth (Katherine Clayton); his great grandchild Emmett Watkins; his siblings, Nadine Sisti of Springfield, IL, Fred Buth (Pat) of Weyerhaeuser, WI, Janet Kosberg (Jerry) of Phoenix, AZ and Marlys Anderson (Mike) of Arnegard, ND; and also, Linda Buth of Gainesville, FL, Lois Halbakken (Harlan) of Dilworth, MN, Dennis Nelson (Paula) of Stillwater, MN and Marlene Dooly (Larry) of Denton, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by non-vaccinated attendees is recommended, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep our facility clean.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting that memorials be preferred to The Milbank Cancer Fund or Avera Hospice – Milbank Area Hospital.
