James Remund Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2021, at the age of 96, James Remund of Milbank, South Dakota, born in Wilmot, South Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Remund to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Remund and Tina Remund (Quade); his wives, Evelyn Tietjen and Nancy Christenson; and his sisters, Dorothy Thymian and Ethel Willett.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie, Janet Taylor of Minneapolis, MN and Steve Remund (Sharon) of Sioux Falls, SD; his adoptive son James "Jamie" Remund; his grandchildren, Kristen Jacobsen (Brady), Kelsey Pick (Brad) and Grant Gale (Gretchen); and his great grandchildren, Theo Jacobsen and Addyson Pick. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is recommended, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep our facility clean.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
