It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jone Karels of Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jone Karels to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Peter and Rose Regina Karels (Strei); and her siblings, Loretta Karels, Evelyn Vincent, Stanley, Bernard and Steven Karels.
She is survived by: her siblings, Genevieve Karels of Lake Zurich, Illinois, Mariva Brodigan (Patrick) of Oregon, Patricia Peterson (Lowell) of Florida, Roman Karels (Shirley) of Ortonville, Minnesota and Thomas Karels (Carole). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants, Sr. Jone suggested donations be made to the missions and other worthy causes.
