We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2023, at the age of 89, Leland C. Schwandt of Milbank, South Dakota, born in Corona, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Schwandt and Laura Schwandt (Schmidt); his sister Dallas Keeney (Clayton); his niece Laurel; and his great grandchild Devon Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Schulte of Milbank, SD; his children, Mike Schwandt (Linda) of Wilmot, SD, Barb Prisinger (Dar) of Milbank, SD, Linda Prisinger (Dale), Karmen Schwandt of Milbank, SD and Mark Schwandt (Sylvia) of Thorton, CO; his grandson Robert Schwandt; and his children, Kyle Schwandt (Melanie), Corey Schwandt, Daniel Schwandt, Karen Smith (Mike), Darcy Thonvold (Thor), Lauri Prisinger, Kraig Prisinger (Amy), Darren Prisinger (Lorriane), Amy Locke (Mike), Katie Schwandt and Eric Schwandt. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
