He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hurd and Betty Hurd (Izora); his daughter Tonya Hurd; and his brother James Hurd. He is survived by: his children, Sherri Crandall (Dave) of Sioux Falls, Thomas Scraggs (Jessica) of Moline, IL and Branden Burden of New York; and his sister Sharon Kuhlman (Alan) of Lacon, IL. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
